Pricing
One licence per server. Pick a tier by the number of accounts, add what you need, and keep what is free on purpose. Amounts are not set yet: where you see "Price coming soon", the number will appear here, in this same place.

What a licence limits.
A limit belongs to the module that counts it, so a new one needs no change to the rest of the panel. Today there are four. At a limit the panel refuses the new one in plain words, names the edition that lifts it, and leaves everything that exists alone.
-
Hosting accounts
Counted when an account is created, adopted or imported.
-
Resellers
Counted when a reseller is created.
-
Servers
Counted when a server is enrolled, including with a token made earlier.
-
CDN edges
Counted when an edge of your own CDN is switched on.
In every edition
- Websites, PHP, apps and runtimes, containers
- Mail, webmail, contacts and calendars
- DNS, certificates, databases, files
- Backups and the built-in S3-compatible store
- The firewall, the web application firewall and account isolation
- The assistant, with your own model key or a model on your own server, and AI services for your customers
- Updates that install themselves, and go back by themselves
- The guide, a PIN after sign-in and trusted browsers
- Importers, the API, webhooks and billing modules
Every install starts with a licence: your key, or the free 14-day trial below. Add-ons need a licence that includes them.
Try it free for 14 days.
Install RespireCloud and press Enter at the licence question. A free 14-day trial starts for the administrator's address, with no card and no key.
- The Pro edition, with limits of 50 hosting accounts, 5 resellers, 3 servers and 1 CDN edge.
- The stable, lts and beta release channels, the same signed updates as a paid licence.
- One trial for each email address and each network address in 90 days.
- You can enter a licence key later on the Licence page. The same server does not start a second trial.
A licence problem never takes your sites down.
- Active
The licence was refreshed in time. Everything works, within the edition's limits.
- Grace
A refresh is overdue. For 14 days by default everything still works, and a banner shows the days left.
- Lapsed
Changes are refused, except licence, sign-in, security and backup actions. Websites, mail and DNS keep running. Nothing is deleted, suspended or stopped. Updates wait for a renewal; a security release still reaches a licence up to 90 days past its term.
Questions
- Why are there no prices?
- RespireCloud is not released yet, and we will not publish numbers we might have to change. Tier names are working titles too. Tell us about your servers and we will tell you where pricing is heading for your setup.
- What does a licence limit?
- Caps on what this installation may have in total. Today: hosting accounts, resellers, servers and CDN edges, and each module that counts something can declare its own. When one is reached, the panel refuses the new one and says which limit it is, how many are in use and which edition lifts it. Everything that already exists keeps working. How high each number is per edition is not decided.
- What happens if my licence cannot be checked, or runs out?
- A licence is checked offline on the server and refreshed online. If a refresh is overdue, a grace period starts, 14 days by default: everything still works and a banner counts the days. After that, changes are refused except licence, sign-in, security and backup actions. Websites, mail and DNS keep running, and nothing is deleted, suspended or switched off.
- Does the assistant cost extra?
- The assistant itself is part of the base product on every licence. For the model behind it you have two ways. RespireSoft AI comes with every licence, with a monthly allowance of credits for everyday help and the guide (larger in higher editions); it turns itself on. More is an add-on: a larger monthly allowance or one-off credit packs. Amounts and prices are to be announced. Or use your own key for a model provider, or a model on your own server, and pay that provider directly, at no extra cost to RespireCloud.
- What is the RespireSoft AI subscription?
- RespireSoft's own AI service, included with every licence as a monthly allowance of credits, with more available as an add-on. With it the panel turns AI on by itself at the first start: no provider account and no key to paste. The panel shows what each request costs in credits and how many are left. Before anything is sent, an administrator chooses once what it may see. Air-gapped mode still refuses everything.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes, 14 days. Press Enter at the licence question of the installer. The trial has the Pro edition with 50 hosting accounts, 5 resellers, 3 servers and 1 CDN edge. It includes RespireSoft AI with the Pro allowance for the same 14 days, so the assistant and the guide work from the first screen.
- Can I sell AI to my own customers?
- Yes. The gateway, knowledge bases and vector collections for customers are in the base product. You decide in each hosting plan how many AI credits a month it includes; zero switches it off for that plan.
- Is isolation an extra?
- No. Per-account Linux users, systemd slices with limits, per-account PHP-FPM and quotas are part of every edition.
- Is a licence tied to one server?
- Yes. A licence is bound to the server it was activated on, and so are its downloads: releases and Store add-ons are served only to a licence that is active or in grace. After a rebuild or a move to new hardware you activate it again on the new server.
- How will it be billed?
- That is not decided. What is decided: it is software you run on your own servers, a licence expires and is renewed, and the Store can start a paid add-on as a trial before you buy it.
